Coach Thomas has been coaching for the past 19 years. After leaving his alma mater, Glen A. Wilson, in Hacienda Heights in 1992, Coach T. has spent the last 17 years at Covina. He was an assistant coach for the first 4 years under Dick Sheehan before taking over as head coach in 1997. During his time, as an assistant and head coach, the Covina football program has captured one CIF championship (1995), 13 playoff appearances (4 Semi-finals), 6 league championships ('93, '94,'95,'97,'05,'06), and 3 San Gabriel Valley Tribune--Player of the Year Awards (Nick Covarrubias '97 and Michael McDonough '05 & '06).

Summary:

I graduated from Oroville High School in Northern California in 1995. I served in the Marine Corps right after H.S. and moved to Covina in 1998. I started helping the team as the Video Coordinator in 2001 and in 2006 I started coaching the Offensive and Defensive Line. After taking a step back last year to concentrate on school, I'm back this year coaching Wide Receivers.
